Ferrari 512 S Modulo
After a decade of extremely bizarre car concepts in the 1970’s, Ferrari tried designing a car that was as flat as possible. The result is an almost undrivable UFO on wheels, unless you’re four feet tall.
This vehicle is actually more intuitive than crazy and I have take my hat off to them. The GINA, which stands for “Geometry and functions In ‘N’ Adaptations”, throws traditional rigid car body materials out the window and brings a man made fabric skin to the table.
It can withstand extremes of hot and cold temperatures and thus change shape. So technically you could “form” a spoiler out of this material on the go for increased aerodynamics during high speed driving.
