10. Koenigsegg CCX
2005 – 2010
It’s been a whole decade since the arrival of this beast. The CCX was originally designed and engineered to comply with global safety and environment regulations, particularly to enter the United States car market.
Nonetheless, nobody ever buys a Koenigsegg with safety in mind. This street-legal version of the CCR (which broke the top speed record in 2004) packs a 4.7L Twin Supercharged DOHC V8 and, quite interestingly, can be fuelled by either gasoline or ethanol. This allows it to reach a blistering top speed of 395kph. Multiple variants of the CCX have been made including the 4.8L CCX Edition which can just break the 400kph barrier.
